PokerStars announced additions to its live events schedule for 2022/23, including EPT stops, more regional events and highly anticipated details of the second PokerStars Players No Limit Hold'em Championship.

PokerStars today announced details of its 2019 sponsored live events schedule in Spain, including a new addition to the European Poker Tour, the EPT Open Madrid.

From 21 August to 2 September, the packages, each worth $30,000, will be awarded to the winners of the National, Cup, Live Qualifier and Main Event, in addition to the longest lasting qualifier in the Main Event.

The company has signed an agreement to sponsor the popular Campeonato España de Poker live poker tour, taking place from 28 February to 4 March and 28 November to 2 December.

In addition to being a Platinum sponsor of the event, which takes place on 29 June at Casino de Barcelona, CTO José Plano will talk about the latest mobile technology.

From Sept. 1 to Oct. 31, affiliates can compete against one another in order to gain points to get a chance at winning a luxury vacation.

Starting in 2017, PokerStars sponsored live events will be separated into PokerStars Championship events and PokerStars Festival events, and will visit cities worldwide.

The tour, taking place alongside the Estrellas Poker Tour, runs until Aug. 28 and features charity events along the way.

The football stars joined more than 1,500 other players in PokerStars' EPT Barcelona tournament, competing in the 25,000 euro buy-in High Roller event.

Barcelona has received multiple bids for its six casino licenses.

The party, which is being sponsored by PokerTracker, will kick-off at 10.30pm on August 20 at Teatre Principal, located in the heart of the city’s famous Las Ramblas boulevard.

The historic 100th EPT kicks off mid-August and numbers already look set to beat last year’s EPT Barcelona Poker Festival record of 378 qualifiers.
